Graduated? Let’s have a party and invite everyone we know!
30 November, 2009
It didn’t quite work out like that when I graduated, the party started after the final exam and ended with a variously inebriated lads and lasses stumbling onto the stage to receive proof that they had done something other than doss about and skive for the last few years of their lives.
I’m sure that when I’ve finished putting my own kids through school I’ll be wanting to celebrate the fact that they can go out and pay their own way. That’s right, I’ll want to party!
It only seems right that, if you’re the sort of person who celebrates life’s little achievements, that you’ll want to do it properly with custom catering, custom entertainment and custom invites letting your nearest and dearest (and everyone else with whom you have ever been acquainted) know that your offspring have finally finished their term in compulsory full-time education.
Just as well then that Naptime productions are well disposed to provide you with the graduation announcement and party invite whatever your preference. Whether you’re a straight upstanding fellow of sober disposition, or a solid member of the christian community, or whether you’re the type of person who goes for the ‘funny’ cards when aunty Hilda’s birthday rolls around. Truly, something for almost everyone.
If I was that way inclined, and I had to do it again, there is no doubt in my mind that I would throw a huge party and invite everyone, I may even use these Graduation Invitations.

Sunday Jukebox – strikes and wars
1 November, 2009
The links may be tenuous at best but when I was listening to the news this week about the Royal Mail strikes and the reports regarding military funding, or lack thereof, I was put in mind of this Billy Bragg number, Between the Wars.
It’s strange, but the older I get the more militant I feel!
