I’m an over-educated father of two who spent the first 25 years of his life attempting to achieve everything that educated people are ‘meant’ to achieve.  Working with buffoons and idiots didn’t aid me in achieving the goals set for me by society within a paradigm defined by people who are happy to deceive themselves and others in an attempt to convince themselves that they are happy with themselves and the society they have created …

Aged the wrong side of 30, I quit my chosen career as an HR Guru back in 2005 to become a full-time parent and have been doing it ever since, it was an easy decision to make at the time given the choice of working with adults who behaved like children or looking after the children who actually mean something to me.  It hasn’t been easy, but nothing ever is and it is more rewarding than my previous employ … sometimes.

Following a period of extended contemplation I realised that my opinion was (is?) just as valid as everyone else’s, and whilst some may choose to disagree with me on the (largely subjective) matters I choose to discuss on my blog it doesn’t necessarily make me wrong … just different. 

Previously this blog covered a myriad of topics, although I’ve since deleted all those posts to focus exclusively on politics.  Anyway, feel free to comment and debate, just keep it clean.  Rascists, bigots and unsavoury characters will be mercilessly flamed and then blacklisted.
