it’s been a wee while since I posted any of my ‘arts’ stuff so I thought I would update with my two most recent attempts at whittling.
Starting with the most recent first, “blue eyes” is my first attempt at adding colour to any of my pieces and I must say that I’m relatively pleased with the result.

The other piece I finished was off the back of not being very well a few weeks ago, and I can’t help thinking that it dodn’t quite turn out as planned:

The stain’s wrong and the ‘hair’ is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong!
