Dawn French and Martin clunes are in fine fettle as they provide the narrative for this Roald Dahl written, Quentin Blake animated masterpiece … it is true to the spirit of Roald Dahl’s more traditional paper based ministrations.
Classic nursery rhymes are given a real Roald Dahl twist and you’ll never look at little red riding hood or the three bears in the same light again, ever! Typically the production is a ‘U’ certificate however, parents of more ’sensitive’ or younger children may wish to review the material first … even if you don’t consider it acceptable for your children it’s still a must for any eclectic movie collection.
MATH rating: I’m on the verge of peeing my pants with excitement?! It’s an hour of your lifeyou’ll have been glad to have had emmersed in the world of Roald Dahl. Excellent.
